Coach Tyler Martin is entering his 6th season as the Head Coach for the East Forsyth Swimming & Diving program where he has been since starting the program in 2021. The 2026-2027 swim & dive season will be his 10th season overall as a head coach. Previously, he was the Head Coach for 4 years at North Forsyth from 2017-2021. He served as an assistant coach for 3 years at North Forsyth from 2014-2017 before being named the head coach in 2017. He serves as an assistant coach at Chattahoochee Gold Swim Club and is the Head Coach for the Lake Forest Lightning summer league program. Coach Martin is also an ASCA level III certified coach. He graduated from North Forsyth in 2011 and was a member of the swim team from 2008-2011. He graduated from the University of North Georgia in 2016 with a Bachelor's degree in Health & Physical Education and in 2018 with a Master's degree in HPE. In 2022, Coach Martin graduated with his specialist degree in Advanced Educational Studies from Augusta University. Coach Martin is in his 11th year in education and is currently a Health & PE teacher at East Forsyth.
Coach Christian Atkinson is entering his 5th season as a Varsity assistant swim coach at East Forsyth. He graduated from Centennial High School where he swam and was a varsity letterman and state team member. He also served as an assistant swim coach at Centennial High School from 2011-2013. In 2018, Coach Atkinson was named the inaugural Head Swim & Dive Coach at Denmark High School where he served from 2018-2019. He graduated from Valdosta State University with a degree in Health & Physical education and is a former health & physical education teacher at Riverwatch Middle School.
Coach Thompson entering her 3rd year as a Varsity assistant coach at East Forsyth and as a second-grade teacher at Chestatee Elementary. She is also the lead coach for our Junior Bronco feeder swim program. She is a graduate of North Forsyth High School where she was a varsity letterman and state team qualifier all four years. She also swam for Chattahoochee Gold during this time and coached summer league in Dawson County for many years. She graduated from Mercer University where she earned a degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education with a Reading Endorsement. She also graduated with her Masters in Educational Administration and Policy from the University of Georgia in 2025.
